General Terms

Treatments deployed are intended for use against the species specified within the treatment description only.

Some treatments may be harmful to humans and other animals so the customer must take the necessary precautions to ensure the treatment area is suitable for treatment during and after the technicians visit.

Customers must not to tamper with treatments in any way whatsoever or allows others to do so in their absence. LSS Pest Control will not be held liable for any damage, illness or death caused to humans or other animals and pets as a result of treatments carried out.

LSS Pest Control are fully insured and carry full public safety and liability insurance.

Pricing

Parking & Congestion Zone Charges

If parking is not provided by the customer, any necessary parking costs will be invoiced to the client post-visit which are payable upon receipt of invoice.

LSS do not issue additional invoices for properties inside congestion zones, instead visits to properties within these zones are charged a flat-rate call out fee upon ordering to cover the cost of such charges including parking. 

Access

The customer must provide LSS Pest Control and their representatives access at the time and date agreed and prepare the property as described when booking the service. If keys are provided they must be fully functional. Failure to gain access will result in the cancellation of the visit and the customer will still be charged. No refunds will be made on cancelled appointments where the technician cannot successfully carry out the treatment as a result of not being able to access the property. The customer must rebook the treatment and pay the full cost of treatment again via the website booking system.

LSS Pest Control cannot be held responsible for the activation of any alarm systems. The customer must provide necessary access instructions or disable alarm systems prior to the technicians site visit. The customer is also responsible for ensuring the premises if fully locked and secure after the LSS technician has left the premises. LSS Pest Control will not be held responsible for the actions of anyone that accesses the building before, during or after the technician has left the premises.

Customers are required to provide adequate parking or parking instructions for the technicians site visit, including the issuing of parking permits where required. Any parking charges acquired as a result of the technicians site visit may be invoiced to the client if parking was not provided.

Payment

All payments are processed via our secure payment gateway powered by Stripe.

Any necessary additional charges as a result of our visit may be invoiced directly and paid via bank transfer to Security Syndicate London Limited. LSS Pest Control is a trading name/style of Security Syndicate London Limited.

In effort to protect our staff LSS Pest Control do not accept cash payments unless in extreme circumstances.

Cancellations & Deposit Policy

All services booked are NON-REFUNDABLE.

All cancellations incur a charge of 50% of the full treatment price.

To cancel a booking please email operations@lsspestcontrol.co.uk along with your order reference number. A member of our team will contact you to discuss rebooking your treatment or process your refund minus cancellation charges.

If you need to reschedule your booking prior to our technician’s we will wave the cancellation charge providing the job is re-booked within 7 days of the original booking date and 24 hours notice is given prior to the initial visit.

In the rare case LSS Pest Control must cancel or reschedule a treatment the customer will be offered a full refund which will be processed within 24-48 hours and show on your bank statement within 7-10 working days.

These terms and conditions are binding and LSS Pest Control will invoice cancellation fees if necessary. Failure to pay cancellation fees within 7 days will mean the debt will be passed to our debt recovery specialists, in this case, the third party recovery agents exercise the right to also recover their costs which will increase the charge significantly.

Cancellation fees apply to the following:

  • No show by customer at visit date/time of technician.
  • Non-compliance with preparation list as supplied by company.
  • Customer cancellation.

Any appointments booked over the phone or by email is a binding contract between the customer and LSS Pest Control. In order to cancel you must do so by email at least 24 hours prior to the technicians visit. Last minute cancellations will not be accepted and the cancellation fee of the full amount of the job will apply.

Claims

Once a treatment has been carried out there are no grounds for a refund. LSS Pest Control carry out treatments at the customer request. Treatments cannot be ‘un-done’ without significant cost.

If a customer is dissatisfied with any of the work carried out by LSS Pest Control, we politely ask that their concerns are raised in an email to operations@lsspestcontrol.co.uk where a member of our team will seek to provide a satisfactory resolution.

Any damage caused by our technicians will be paid for ONLY if contractors/materials are ordered through or accepted by LSS Pest Control PRIOR to rectification works.

Anything beyond the above will be done through our insurance, a copy of which can be requested by contacting operations@lsspestcontrol.co.uk
